When God called Moses to deliver His people out of Egypt, he experienced a wonderful revelation of God speaking to Him from the burning bush (Exodus chapter 3). However, Moses was very reluctant to go. He felt totally inadequate and gave five reasons why he felt he was not able to do what God was calling him to
do (Exodus 4:1-20) --
If this is how you feel too, be encouraged. The Lord provided what Moses needed to fulfil the task. He said to Moses...
"What is that in your hand"?
It was his staff, something he used every day to tend to the flock. The Lord then revealed that the staff would represent His power for Moses to use. Using that staff, Moses was going to see great miracles bringing deliverance to God’s people (Exodus chapters 7 to 14)
